Jazz Concert Series - David Basse with OJT Concert -- SEPT. 5TH September 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ironwoods Amphitheater (147th & Mission Rd.).

20th Annual Labor Day 5K Run & Walk -- SEPT. 6TH Monday, September 6 at 7:30 a.m. at Leawood City Park (10601 Lee Blvd.).

Doggie Dunk at the Leawood Aquatic Center - SEPT. 7TH Tuesday, September 7 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Leawood Aquatic Center (10601 Lee Blvd.).

Public Works

Street Maintenance Division

The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for the daily upkeep of the streets in Leawood. Their duties include:

Curb and Sidewalk Repair
Pavement Markings
Street Surface Maintenance
(Milling/resurfacing, crack sealing and pothole repair)
Maintenance and Installation of Street Signs
Street Sweeping

We do not provide snow removal on PRIVATE STREETS.

This Division employs twenty (20) full time employees. Employees are divided into five (5) divisions: Action Crew, Asphalt Crew, Concrete Crew, Sign Crew, Street-sweeper Operations. All employees perform in snow operations. Related inquires may be directed to:
