Attorney Open Pleas

Conducted on a walk-in basis every Thursday afternoon between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Attorneys are encouraged to use this time to discuss plea agreements and diversions with the prosecutor. Only attorneys may negotiate pleas during the open plea dockets. Any matter other than a sentencing [which requires jail time] or the setting aside of a warrant may be resolved during the open plea docket. Although clients need not be present to resolve the matter, the counsel must have the client’s money to pay the fine.
