Station 31 - 9609 Lee Blvd.
Engine 31
Engine 31 is a 2011 Pierce Velocity PUC with a 1500 gallon per minute pump, a 500 gallon booster tank and a compressed air/foam system (CAFS) for improved fire suppression. Besides fire suppression equipment, this vehicle is equipped with basic life support equipment including oxygen and an automatic external defibrillator (AED). Other significant equipment includes an Amkus Tool and air bags for vehicle extrication, and a thermal imaging camera for locating trapped victims or firefighters.

Utility 31
Utility 31 is a 2005 F250 4 x 4 that is used to provide logistical support to the Fire Department.
Engine 30
Engine 30, a 1949 Ford Central Pumper, was Leawood's first fire engine. It was restored in 2008 and is now used for display and public education. Click here for more information about Engine 30 and it's restoration.

Truck 32 is a 2002 Pierce Dash with a 100' aerial platform ladder, a 2000 gallon per minute pump, and a 300 gallon booster tank. Besides fire suppression equipment, this vehicle is equipped with basic life support equipment including oxygen and an automatic external defibrillator (AED). Other significant equipment includes an Amkus Tool and air bags for vehicle extrication, and a thermal imaging camera for locating trapped victims or firefighters.
Rescue 32
Rescue 32 is a 2008 Pierce Saber. This heavy rescue unit carries equipment for technical rescue operations such as vehicle & machinery extrication, high/low angle rope rescue, swiftwater/flood & ice rescue, and structural collapse rescue. R32 is also equipped with basic life support equipment including oxygen and an automatic external defibrillator (AED).
Battalion 32
Battalion 32 is a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 operated by the Shift Commander. Battalion 32 is equipped with incident command equipment, portable radios, and basic life support equipment, including oxygen and an automatic external defibrillator (AED).
Station 33 - 14801 Mission Road
Quint 33
Quint 33 is a 2007 Pierce Dash with a 2000 GPM pump, a 75' ladder, and a 500 gallon booster tank. Besides fire suppression equipment, this vehicle is equipped with first aid equipment including oxygen and an automatic external defibrillator (AED). Other significant equipment includes an Amkus Tool and air bags for vehicle extrication, and a thermal imaging camera for locating trapped victims or firefighters.
Engine 33 (Reserve)
Engine 31 is a 2008 Pierce Velocity with a 1500 gallon per minute pump, a 500 gallon booster tank and a compressed air/foam system (CAFS) for improved fire suppression. Engine 33 is a fully equipped engine that can be staffed by callback personnel if needed. In addition, Engine 33 is ready whenever a front line unit must be taken out of service for mechanical reasons, including preventive maintenance.
Utility 33
Utility 33 is a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban 4x4 driven by the Training Chief during the work week. U33 is equipped with basic equipment that enables it to be put in service as a back up Command vehicle if needed.
Utility 35
Utility 35 is a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 4 x 4 driven by the Fire Prevention Specialist during the work week.
Utility 36
Utility 36 is a 2011 Ford F350 4x4 that is used to provide logistical support for the Fire Department.
Boat 33/ATV 33
Boat 33 and ATV 33 are transported on an 18 foot trailer along with other miscellaneous water rescue equipment.
Utility Trailer 33
Utility Trailer 33 is a 16 foot enclosed trailer used to transport technical search equipment used by Leawood's Technical Rescue Team or to provide a mobile command post. This specialized equipment includes search cameras, listening devices, and other specialized search & rescue equipment that can be used to locate victims after a tornado or building collapse. UT33 was purchased through the Kansas Homeland Security Grant Program and can be deployed to incidents anywhere in Kansas.
