The City of Leawood accepts applications for employment for open positions that are listed on the Career Opportunities page. A complete City application is required to apply for any position with the City of Leawood. Resumes, cover letters and related materials may also be required but cannot be used in place of a City application.
A completed online application must be submitted by the posted closing date to be considered for the position.
Troubleshooting CivicHR (Application System)
If a resume and cover letter are required for the position, you must upload both documents prior to submitting your application. The cover letter will need to be uploaded under Other Documents.
If you are having problems with uploading documents, try to upload them as Word documents. The system will convert the documents to pdfs in the system.
If you have forgotten your password or are unable to access your account, please try to request a new password through the "Forgot your Password" link.
You will receive an email from CivicHR when your application has been submitted successfully.
You are unable to edit your application once it has been submitted.
