City of Leawood's 4th of July Celebration

The City of Leawood and 105.1 Jack FM are proud to present the annual 4th of July Celebration, sponsored by Dick’s Sporting Goods and Coca-Cola. Leawood City Park (10601 Lee Blvd) will be the site for food, fun and fireworks on Friday, July 4 from 5:00 – 10:00 pm. Join the entire community in remembering what a great nation we live in and help celebrate our Independence Day! In honor of the city’s 60th anniversary, the fireworks display will be bigger and better than ever!
The Aquatic Center will be open from 11:00am – 5:00pm. Kid’s activities and food vendors will take place from 5:00–9:30 p.m. Fireworks will be at 9:45 p.m. Jack FM (105.1) will provide a live simulcast during the event!
Activities include carnival games & rides, face painters, clowns/balloon artists, numerous food vendors, and live music from The Beatles cover band, “Liverpool”. Admission is free but unlimited access to games and rides require a $5.00 wristband purchase for children ages 14 and under.
Parking will not be allowed in the park but free parking along Tomahawk Creek Parkway will be available and shuttle buses will provide transportation to and from City Park at no cost.
