Leawood Stage Company to hold Auditions for “Nunsense”

The Leawood Stage Company will hold auditions for Nunsense on Sunday, September 9th and Monday, September 10th at 7:00 pm at the Lodge at Ironwoods Park located at 147th and Mission Road. Callbacks will be held on the 10th at 8:00 pm by appointment.

Leawood Stage Company is pleased to welcome Eric Van Horn back as director of this production. Van Horn last directed Bye Bye Birdie last summer and Brigadoon for LSC in the summer of 2009.

Nunsense is a hilarious musical comedy about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a talent show in order to raise funds to bury their dearly departed sisters. The rest of the Little Sisters of Hoboken have died from botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia, child of God.
The production of Nunsense will be performed November 9, 10, and 11 inside the Lodge in Ironwoods Park. Rehearsals will run Sunday through Thursday evenings.
