Spring Tomahawk Trail Clean-Up

Bring your scout troop, club, neighbors or yourself to Tomahawk Park for a fun, clean event with a purpose. We would like to invite everyone out to enjoy your Leawood City Parks and pick-up litter along the trail, tree-lines, creek and other areas from Leawood City Park to I-Lan Park, and also Geezer and Ironwoods Parks. This feel-good event benefits your community and the environment. It’s a great time to make this clean-sweep before everything greens up and litter is more difficult to find. Trash bags, gloves and snacks will be provided. You must provide supervision for all children you bring. This is an excellent opportunity to give back to your community.

You must register for this free event by calling the Prairie Oak Nature Center 913-681-0902 Ext. 10. You will receive a starting time from 2-5 p.m. and a location for your group to clean. Thank you for your service!
