Historic Oxford Schoolhouse Hosts Friday the Thirteenth Event - AUG. 13TH

The docents of the Historic Oxford Schoolhouse will host a program on Friday, July 13th prior to the showing of the movie “Goonies”. This event will take place in connection with Movie Night, presented by Leawood Parks and Recreation, at the Ironwoods Park Amphitheater, 147th & Mission Road in Leawood, Kansas.

Learn about the history and superstitions associated with Friday the 13th. While waiting for the movie to begin, walk through the park to the Historic Oxford Schoolhouse to participate in activities related to Friday the Thirteenth from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.
