From Broadway with Love: This original musical revue compiles your favorite songs about romance from contemporary and classic Broadway shows presented by outstanding vocalists. Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved ones by attending this unique performance.

This musical revue will be presented as “Dessert Theater”, featuring desserts provided by Corner Bakery Cafe and beverages for $30 per couple or $18 per person; or an entire table of 8 for $110. Treat yourself or bring your sweetheart but don’t miss this opportunity to experience an original Valentine performance. From Broadway with Love is a perfect date night for an event for a group!

Bonnie & Clyde: At the height of the Great Depression, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, two small-town nobodies from Texas, became America's most infamous folk heroes and law enforcement's worst nightmares. Bonnie & Clyde is a thrilling musical telling of their rise to fame combining blues, gospel and rockabilly music.

Leawood Stage Company is proud to present the Kansas City premier of this Broadway musical with music by the legendary Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde), book by Evan Menchell and lyrics by Don Black. Directed by Steven Eubank, Bonnie & Clyde examines the compelling adventure America's most notorious lovers and bank robbers.

The summer’s big outdoor family musical is the beloved classic, Annie. Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite her bleak start in 1930s New York City.

Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of the orphanage run by the bitter Miss Hannigan. She finds a new home with billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Annie, directed by Chris McCoy, will have a large cast of children and adults and promises to be an enjoyable night of theatre under the stars.

The season will conclude in the fall with Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, the world's longest running play. The Mousetrap begins when a group of strangers is stranded in a boarding house during a snowstorm, one of whom is a murderer. To discover the murderer, a policeman probes the background of everyone present, threatening to unveil the secrets of each character. The investigator suggests that everyone there is not only a suspect but also a possible next victim. Each guest seems to have some connection to the host couple, expected or unexpected. Jessica Franz directs this classic murder mystery.

Other offerings include the eleventh annual “Taking Tea with Shakespeare” afternoon tea – April 23 in the Oak Room of Leawood City Hall. The tea is presented in partnership with the Magna Carta and Royal Arms Chapters of the Daughters of the British Empire and The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival.
