Leawood Arts Council to Hold Art Exhibit & Reception
at Better Homes and Gardens, Kansas City Homes Office
The Leawood Arts Council and Parks and Recreation Departments are pleased to present our first annual “Natural Reflections” Plein Air show and reception at the new Better Homes and Gardens, Kansas City Homes office in Mission Farms. Together they will host this community event to celebrate the work created by local artists within the Leawood Park system.
The show will run November 5th - 17th, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm daily. Drop by the Better Homes and Gardens office to view and purchase art. Local painters and photographers created all of the works of art during the week of October 7th through 15th in Leawood City Park, Tomahawk Creek Greenway, Tomahawk Creek Park,
I-Lan Park, Gezer Park or Ironwoods Park.
The Awards Reception will be held Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The reception will be open to the public featuring entertainment, music, and food at no charge. All artwork will be available for purchase during the reception and throughout the exhibition period.
A portion of the sale price of all art will benefit The Leawood Foundation projects or the Leawood Stage Company “Performing Arts Fund”. Both are 501c3 organizations, making that portion tax deductible.
For more information or to purchase art, please contact the Cultural Arts Coordinator at 913-663-9157 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
