7 Get out and get going! The Parks and Recreation Department will host National Trails Day. First 100 participants receive a 60th Anniversary Pedometer/Radio. Meet at Shelters C/D in City Park. 9:00 a.m. Walk to Watts Mill (refreshments) via the Indian Creek Trail and back. $- Free
8 The Leawood Lions will rededicate the Lion’s Shelter and Lion’s Fountain in Leawood City Park from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Lion’s will provide ice cream to all who come to help celebrate this important civic event. $- Free
