The Community Center, located on the lower level of City Hall (4800 Town Center Drive), opened in May, 1997 and was renovated in June, 2006. Three rooms are featured at the Community Center and are great for programming, business meetings, retreats, wedding receptions, civic groups, city functions and much more!

General Rules & Regulations

  • A fee of $275 will be charged at the time of reservation.

  • Minimum 2 hour reservation required.

  • Any person reserving the facility is responsible for any damages that occur during the event.

  • A $250 security deposit is required for all rentals in case of damage to the facility.  A credit card number can be held.

  • Final payment and the room set-up diagram is due no later than 21 days prior to the event.

  • The City of Leawood will not allow the use of its facilities by groups who charge admission or sell products on the premises for profit.

  • All groups must depart the building by the end of their contract time or an additional fee will apply.

  • Leawood Parks & Recreation reserves the right to reject any and all reservations.

  • Parties consuming alcohol are required to purchase an Alcohol Permit and have a security guard present during the event.

  • Rental groups must include decoration, set up and clean up time in their rental time.
