The Leawood Parks & Recreation Soccer program stresses the development of individual skills with an emphasis on maximum participation of all players in a recreational atmosphere.

The teams ideally consist of ten to fourteen players for 4 and 5 year olds through 3rd grade and fourteen through eighteen players for 4th through 8th graders from the same school whenever possible. Teams are single gender when possible, although mixed teams are common until the third grade. The league does not provide coaches and relies upon dedicated volunteer parents to fill these positions. Individuals will be placed on teams according to school location with the goal of fostering teamwork and friendship for all involved.

All of the Spring 2012 soccer information is now available.

 

All current soccer forms that need to be completed for the Spring 2012 soccer season are now available at this site in .PDF format for downloading. These are the forms that coaches need to have filled out and turned into Leawood Parks & Recreation. If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download it for free from HERE.

With the Player Registration forms available online, coaches will need to make sure that they receive the original signed copy from each of their players and retain those for their records. From these originals, please make copies of the registration forms to turn into the league with your teams completed roster. Remember, coaches need to have on hand, at all practices and games, the signed original registration forms in case they would need them for any medical or emergency information.

The other forms available in the .PDF format are the Spring 2012 Team Roster, the Practice Field Sign Up Form, the General Information packet, and the Leawood Soccer Rulebook. All of these forms are available for exact downloading. The rest of the forms are available to view at this site and do provide useful information for our coaches and parents about our Leawood Soccer League.

Remember to check all of the forms for the current Spring 2012 information.
