Sergeant David B. Slade
1940-1998
Sergeant David Slade was a member of the Leawood Police Department for 18 years. He passed away on June 16, 1998, of natural causes while still serving with the Leawood Police Department. During his years of service to Leawood, Sgt. Slade was honored as the department’s Officer of the Year and received three Metro Chiefs’ Association Certificates of Commendation.
