Fee:  $5 per dog

Pooch Paint 2019

Saturday, June 1 - 9:00am-Noon

Near the entrance to Leawoof Dog Park on the east side of Leawood City Park
10601 Lee Boulevard


  • Painting will be taken  home by owners
  • All pet painters must register, pay a $10 fee and sign waivers before painting
  • A cleaning station will be onsite to remove paints from paws
  • All supplies willb e provided for your pet artists.  Paints are watercolor and non-toxic

Proceeds from Pooch Paint 2-19 go to the Leawood Foundation for future amenities to the Leawoof Dog Park

Soccer: 4 and 5 years old, through 8th grade

7 vs 7: 4 and 5 years old, though 4th grade

9 vs 9: 5th though 8th grade

Bring your Basket and join the fun at Leawood City Park for the
Parks and Recreation Department’s 24th Annual Egg Hunt

Schedule of Events
Lunch & Activities – 11:00am-12:30pm
Egg Hunt – 12:30pm Sharp!


The hunt will be divided into 3 age categories
Ages Infant – 3 years
Ages 4-6 years
Ages 7-9 years

For the enjoyment of all participants, we ask parents to refrain from entering the fields during the hunt

The event is FREE for all participants with plenty of eggs for everyone!  Activities for children include face painting, a balloon artist, stickers and free pictures with the Bunny.

Boy Scout Troop 10 will be serving a breakfast / lunch menu 11:00am-12:30pm at the Lion’s Shelter in City Park – CASH ONLY

Kids Fishing Derby

Kid’s Fishing Derby

Saturday, April 27; 8:30-10:30am

The Leawood Police and Parks & Recreation Departments are hosting a Kids Fishing Derby for ages 12 and under at the North Lake. Bring the entire family to this fun, FREE event where children can learn to fish in the lake stocked annually with channel cat by the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. Fish for bluegill and large-mouth bass too!
